Batman

Immune to Mind Control

Batman is another powerless hero who we have seen throughout many movies, television shows, video games, and comic books. Though he is powerless he still defeats every villain he comes across. He seems to have endless gadgets on his belt, seems like something for every situation. Detective Comic #33 was the first comic that revealed Batman's origin of him witnessing his parents get shot at the hands of a mugger. Later, at the graves of his parents Bruce Wayne says, "by the spirit of my parents I will avenge their deaths by spending the rest of my life warring on all criminals"(Detective Comic #33, Finger). It seems like has done just that, he seemed to piss every bad guy off, and the cops didn't know if he was good or bad at first. Every challenge or problem he ever faced he seemed to just be able to solve, and that's why people loved him so much (also hes kind of a bad***). His villains don't seem to have superpowers either, take Joker for example, he is just crazy and messed up in the head, but people love him. No matter what, Batman always beats him.

Moon Knight
Abilities:
Superb Athlete
Master martial artist and hand to hand combat
Immune to psychic attack
Skilled acrobat, gymnast, and detective
Expert aviator and marksman
Posses vast access to both sophisticated and traditional weaponry

Moon Knight, also powerless, seems like just a Marvel version of Batman. Difference is Marc has parents (**ba doom tss**). Marc Spencer was born in Chicago, Illinois, he was a rabbi's son. As an adult he spends time training to be a heavyweight boxer, US Marine, and a mercenary. Later in Egypt he and his friend, Frenchie, befriend Raoul Bushman, a mercenary,  He later goes on an archaeological dig, with his friends and Dr. Peter Alruane. They find the tomb of Khonshu, Egyptian god of the moon, Bushman wants to loot the find, so he murders Dr. Alruane. Marc, upset by this action, challenges Raoul to a hand to hand fight, he was beaten nearly to death and left laying in the middle of the desert, in sub-zero temperatures, until some desert wanders, who worship Khonshu, find him and take him to their temple. Marc's heart stops. Khonshu appears to Marc in a vision, and tells him he can have a second chance if he becomes his "avatar" on Earth. Marc awakens, wraps himself in the silver shroud that covers Khonshu's statue, and confronts Bushman again. He defeats Bushman this time. He then goes back to America with Frenchie, Marlene Alruane, Dr. Alruane's daughter, and the statue of Khonshu. He decides to become a crime fighter and creates a silver costume, that's based on the silver shroud, and becomes the Moon Knight. Am I the only one who thinks this guy should have a movie made about him? In the comic books he occasionally teams up to fight crime with Spider Man. Moon Knight defiantly gets my vote in the "looks department".

We put them against each other because they are practically the same, both are wealthy, both know martial arts, both are detectives, and both are super cool. Bruce might have Marc in the "brains department" it would be a great battle to see though.

1. Iron Man vs. Blue Beetle -- Winner:Iron Man (7-2)

Iron Man-Marvel Comics
Abilities:
Genius level intellect
Armored Suit
Superhuman Strength
Mach 3 Flight
Energy Repulsors
Missiles and other Weaponry
Regenerative Life Support
(sometimes Solar Powered)
Expert in hand to hand Combat

Iron Man is the classic armored, super powerless, smart-mouthed hero. Over the last 2, and soon to be 3, Iron Man movies, and comic books we've seen him take down some pretty tough villains. No matter what kind of trouble he is in, he always has time to crack a joke, or make a comment about the situation. He's rich(that's an understatement), smart(again, also an understatement), and he gets all the girls, who wouldn't want to be Tony Stark. Some might say "Well, Batman has all those qualities, wouldn't he be a batter match for Iron Man?" Wrong!, though Batman has all those qualities, we can all agree that Iron Man would completely annihilate Batman. First off Batman doesn't really have any weaponry, where as Iron Man has repulsor rays all around. Secondly if he needed to Iron Man would just fly away, where as Batman needs to call in for a ride, and by that time Tony could be relaxing on a beach somewhere. So we did some searching and found that Blue Beetle is a better opponent for Tony Stark and his suit of armor.

Blue Beetle- DC Comics
Abilities:
An alien suit of armor grants the ability of
Flight
Enhanced Strength and Durability
Creating Weapons
Expert in hand to hand Combat
Translation of Alien Language

From the Words of Wikipedia and the DC website:
"Jaime Reyes is the third character to assume the mantle of Blue Beetle, but he is substantially different from his predecessors. Introduced in 1939, the original Blue Beetle was a Fox Comics mystery man who drew mystical abilities from an ancient Egyptian scarab. Published by Charlton Comics and later DC, 1966 creation Ted Kord was Garrett's student who continued his legacy of costumed crime-fighting, although he had no superpowers. DC's introduction of Jaime Reyes in 2006 expanded upon the Blue Beetle myths. Revealed to be alien in origin, the scarab bonds with Reyes and provides him with a suit of extraterrestrial armor shortly after Kord's death. Though only a teenager, Reyes quickly forms a working relationship with Kord's former teammate and best friend Booster Gold and is inducted into the Teen Titans." Though the Blue Beetle may not has that "WOW" factor that Tony has on everyone, he is still a pretty cool superhero.

We matched these two up because they were very similar in many ways: they both have powerful weapons, difference is Beetle creates his, and Tony's are build in. They are both experts in hand to hand and have and have enhanced strength because of there armor. This would be a great battle to watch and see who's armor would last longer and do better against the other one. I would say that Beetle's armor would last longer, because Tony's can run out of power, but that isn't to say that Iron Man would lose.
